Missing Person Search (LPSM)

One Devon and Cornwall 4x4 Response Incident Manager and four Responders assisted Devon and Cornwall Police in a recent Search and Rescue exercise.  After three practice searches. we were interrupted by a live casualty nearby.  A man had fallen from the top of Saddle Tor and had a suspected serious leg break and three primary school children with no other adults around.  With our assistance Dartmoor Search and Rescue stabilised and stretchered the casualty down to awaiting ambulance crew who had stopped nearby to complete their paperwork!  A very lucky man!
