Hatherleigh Carnival | Flaming Tar Barrels and Torch Lit Street Procession

Hatherleigh Carnival is a fund-raiser combined with Guy Fawkes Night celebrations and was held in 13 November 2021. There was a torchlit procession, a parade of tractor-drawn decorated illuminated floats, as well as barrel running , where three full sized barrels are lit and pulled round the town at speed through the crowd. DC4x4 were there in force to ensure that the carnival passed off safely, manning road closures and marshalling spectators. A brilliant and spectacular event!
